david c mulford

why do such men exist ? are not ambassadors meant to be people sent to maintan the peace between nations . ofcourse this includes the mandate to further the interests of the home nation . this man certainly seems to have overstepped the limits of his office . there is a matter of protocol and established practise . in his case he should have either written to the foreign office or made personal contact in a back channel manner . not every politician in america is a india lover . in fact so many of them have acted in direct antagonism to india`s interests it would almost be possible to call them anti india and their nation as a whole anti indian . i do not however recall the indian ambassador going out of his way to express his opinion to the media and to all the politicians . he represents what must be called the `` ugly american `` . brash and of the firm opinion that they do own the world . even if the truth is that they do he is still in the position of being in this country as a representative of his nation and it`s culture . the possiblity that the first is held hostage by a conspiratorial government and the second is a mere figment of imagination must be entertained .
coming to what the gentle man has decided to defend . george w bush is a joke and has been one ever since he was sensationally elected in an atmosphere of no suspicion at all about his brother and the attorney general along with fox news skewing everything . the man has been good to India but that is about his only redeeming feature . then again we must remember the plight our neighboring nations are in because America was on their side .
it is fanciful in the extreme for the cpi to talk of propriety ofcourse . they will not be showing a visiting head of state the courtesy of attending his address to parliament . but they are citizens of India and as such are entitled to their views and actions within the framework of laws . however the ambassador has definitely overstepped his boundaries .

  1. True - but calling Bush “the captain of an organised gang of killers” was a bit too blatant esp for a person holding the post of CM -- not that I dispute the truth in the statement by BB in anyway!!

To call Mulford "brash" is an understatement. He is a power hungry animal who will stop at nothing to land on top . .no matter how many backs he walks over to get there. He has been married more times than one can count, and is an embarrassment to be representing our country! I think Bush appointed DCM to get him out of Washington.

I am glad I found this website regarding David Mulford. This man ruined my life by seeing to it that an agreement entered into with me by Senior Officers at White, Weld & Co.was rescinded when David Mulford found the agreement not to his liking. The replacement offer was totally unsatisfactory, and forced my resignation from White, Weld & Company. This action resulted in a great financial loss to me. You can contact me to hear the story at rmf-gof@juno.com.
